A Winter Wonderland

Yay, a snow day!! Sometimes I feel selfish when I just want to stay in bed in the morning, I am not that person....I love going to work. But lately, I have felt several times that I would like to just turn off my alarm and roll back over and sleep, sleep.

But then there is a snow day, and I can do just that, watch tv for a while to see if there is no school......wait for it.......YAY, its us on there!!! Could it be true?? Watch it at least five times to make sure that I'm not seeing things in my half asleep stupor. Let the dog run around for a while, and then whisk him back into his room, put on my sleeping mask and GO BACK TO BED!!!!

And there are so many things I should be doing, but I finally fall back asleep and I am in dreamland until noon, omg. I really need to go to the store and get food, my mortgage payment is due by tomorrow or it's late, my house looks like a tornado has gone through it.....but I can't go anywhere, the snow plow hasn't even been down my road yet (it's 12:30, yikes!). And that domestic crap....grrrr, I don't wanna.

So I am going to be lazy today, and I am so good at that, that's what a snow day is for right?? We're supposed to pretend that this day didn't exist and don't do anything that would alter life too much, like cleaning the house dramatcially, cause I am supposed to be at work right?? And I will just pick up tomrrow where I left off, and hopefully I don't wake up any time soon and have that urge to just turn off the alarm.....hopefully not too soon........
